The FV Series Blow-Off valve (BOV) is a pressure relief device for installation on the intake charge pipes of your vehicle, to prevent your turbo's compressor from being damaged. When your throttle is closed, pressure rapidly builds, causing backflow and pressure fluctuations (surge) that can damage your turbo. Surge can eventually lead to thrust bearing failure and expensive turbo replacement. Blow-Off valves use a combination of manifold pressure and spring force to detect when the throttle is closed, venting boost pressure to atmosphere to relieve pressure and eliminate surge.

The FV Series Blow Off Valve is easily adjustable to eliminate compressor surge and preventing premature boost leakage, while increasing boost response between shifts. Each valve is made of durable cast and billet aluminum frame and the valve to diaphragm ratio provides performance that cheap piston types cannot offer. The spring stiffness adjustment screw and the three different models give the FV user the option to match vehicles with mild upgrades to heavily tuned engines. Supporting up to 430hp (25psi), the FV Blow off Valve can handle the most demanding street-tuned applications.

The included adapter flange makes bolting the FV blow off valve to your stock vehicle simple. Each flange is CNC cut from T6061 aluminum for longevity and durability. Each adapter allows you to install a FV blow off valve in the OEM blow off valve location on your vehicle, without making any major modifications such as replacing intake tubes/charge pipes or welding.
